Time flies when you’re having fun!

We can’t believe it is approaching the end of autumn 1 already! Only two weeks to go until we reach half term, which is unbelievable, and also means we need to start looking ahead to the spring timetable!

The pupils have really slotted straight back into their classes very well. Although I haven’t been lucky enough to teach everybody this term, I have been extremely impressed with those pupils who I have been taking on a regular basis. I have very much enjoyed being able to consolidate the dancers’ learning from the beginning of the year, whilst still developing their skills and pushing towards the next level. This applies to all the different levels I am teaching currently.

It has also been lovely to welcome new faces to some of our classes, including our ever popular baby ballet class on a Saturday morning. This class along with pre-school ballet, taught by Miss Jess, are very popular classes and we hope to be able to add more of these to the spring timetable, as we have a waiting list for both classes currently developing. Our weenie boppers class is also proving a big hit still with these young ones, which is lovely to see.

Don't forget that if your little one loves to dance, they can start a third class, tiny tappers, and you'll receive 15% off all three classes.

Our adult fitness classes are proving very popular still this term; particularly our flow and adult ballet classes. Again, you can benefit from our discounts by signing up for multiple lessons, as we also have adult tap and pilates too. After Christmas, we are also hoping to add yoga to our timetable. If you are particularly interested in joining this class, please get in touch, as this will help us with our timetable planning. Our fitness classes are not just for older students, although we love having so many ex-pupils and older students join in with these classes and you are all more than welcome at any time. These lessons are also suitable for adult beginners, but also our senior dance school. Pilates and yoga are fantastic complements to the dance classes we are currently offering and the techniques involved are easily transferrable; as well as seeing fantastic results in terms of strength and flexibility, which all dancers need.

So if you are interested in starting up any new classes with us, whatever age and/or experience you are, please do get in touch, as we probably have something suitable for you. All these classes are a good way to exercise, socialise and enhance your mood, especially now the weather is getting colder and wetter and many of us have been locked in for months!!! Come and join us and see what class is best for you.
